Named after her lovely and awesome great grandmother, Chanie finds her design inspiration in everything around her and in between. Her love of making things more beautiful, orderly and simple led her to study Media Arts and Science at the IU School of Informatics and adopt the philosophy of "Just enough is more." Her creative vision and her drive to solve problems in a straightforward style make Chanie the cat's meow of design around here.
Chanie sums up her view on sustainability just like Dr. Seuss's The Lorax: "Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot, nothing is going to get better. It's not." And Chanie is one of those "someone"s, just trying to make even the smallest changes for a positive impact on our beautiful Earth.
When not gazing at a computer, Chanie can usually be found hanging out with her adorable little family and three dogs, trying new vegan and vegetarian recipes, hiking the trails or dreaming up new beer logos for a craft brewery. If she's not there, you can surely find her at a concert around Indy, even if that's just in her living room as she solo-performs made up silly songs for her equally-silly daughter.
